Park life in Ho Chi Minh City

For university students in Australia, Sunday afternoon is often the perfect opportunity to head out to the local pub with mates for a ‘Sunday sesh’.

Students in Ho Chi Minh City however prefer to venture outdoors with their friends and relax in the very warm Vietnamese sunshine.

Tao Dan Park in central Ho Chi Minh City is abuzz with activity.

There are groups of students spread across the grass: dancing, singing and playing guitars in the warm sun, while a father and his son play badminton under the shade of a tree.

Despite all the activity the park still conveys a sense of calm and tranquility.
